12pm – Wolverine

What exactly is a wolverine? Is it a wolf? Is it a cat? Is it a bear? 

No, It’s a weasel! Where does the world’s biggest terrestrial mustelid live? 

Where did it come from? How does it survive? And what can we do to help wolverines?

1:30pm – Polar bears: Walker and Arktos

How polar bears survive in the wild as the largest land carnivore in the most fragile ecosystem on Earth, and how we as a species are key to their survival. 

2:30pm – Bactrian camel

We have three female Bactrian camels here at the park – Caramel, Dierdre and Dippy. Like all the animals in our care our camels are amazing ambassadors for their relatives in the wild and help hundreds of thousands of people connect with nature every year. 

Talks will take place on the entrance reserve boardwalk.
